About

Jacky Freeman
I have lived in Cheshire for almost 40 years and have raised my family in the area. Exploring the local landscapes through my watercolours has been a passion that I have pursued over the years – from Quarry Bank Mill in the snow, to the spring foliage at Alderley Edge, the beautiful Northcliffe Chapel at Styal and the bright canal boats at Middlewich. I have a catalogue of over 50 popular local scenes which are available as prints and are often purchased as wedding gifts or leaving presents.

Educated at Southend High School for Girls, I went on to train as a junior school teacher. I have always loved painting from a very early age and am mainly a self-taught artist. You may have seen me in the past exhibiting at the Wilmslow Artisan Market or local Cheshire craft fairs.

I have a small gallery next to my house in Wilmslow, where people are welcome to visit after making a prior appointment.
